Consultation
Each job typically starts with a free in-home, or phone, consultation at which time we determine the scope of the job and discuss your needs & goals and determine a timeline..
Sorting / Labeling
It isn’t unusual for clients to have lost track of what is in boxes, attics, and basements…. We typically start a project by sorting the contents of a house into categories. Upon the start of a project, we typically sort the contents of a house into different categories: Items to keep and move to a new residence (if there is a move involved). Items to be reviewed by family members and items to be sold, consigned, or donated.
Disbursement
Following the sorting/labeling process (& decision process), SSH will coordinate all logistics involved with the removal of items that are to be sold, consigned and donated. We will schedule movers, auction houses, donation sites, and trash haulers.
In the end, your house will be cleaned and completely emptied and ready to turn over to a new owner.
Packing
As decisions are made, we can pack items that are being kept but are not needed for everyday use. We call this pre-packing. As the move date approaches, we (SimplySized Home) will systematically pack all contents in the house in preparation for move day.
We carefully label each box so move day is efficient and there is unnecessary guessing where things go when unpacked

Moving
We will arrange for the appropriate moving company (local vs. long distance, national vs. international) to move your belongings on move day. Arrangements can also be made to ship items to family members.
Resettling
SimplySized Home offers resettling services which includes unpacking boxes in your new home, making up beds, kitchen, and bathrooms. IT’s important to us that you have a stress free and comfortable first night in your new home. We will also remove all boxes and paper at the end of the day.
Trash / Cleaning
In almost all cases, there is trash that accumulates and needs to be removed after a move. We can arrange and oversee
